Mini Mini’s and Caramel Cookies
A city trip to Vienna has to include tasting some of their delicious chocolates! When you walk through this beautiful city you see a lot of chocolate stores around you. So, when I was walking on Landstraßer Hauptstraße I entered the confectionery, Kurkonditerei Oberlaa. I was thrilled when I found out that they had gluten-free products. I bought Mini-Mini’s and Caramel Cookies which are both gluten-free but not lactose-free (it is worth taking a lactose enzyme pill, if you are into these kind of sweets). The minis are wrapped in separate little boxes with fun colors highlighting some of Vienna’s well-known landmarks. The boxes look really cute, great to gift to someone, but even more so, these chocolates are literally to die for! The Mini-Mini is a little sweet chocolate treat filled with crunchy and delicious hazelnuts. With every bite, I tried to elongate the moment of having this little piece of chocolate in my mouth, slowly chewing it and slowly letting it melt. I have to mention that I have a weakness for praline/hazelnut chocolate and everything that comes close to those categories. So, for me, these chocolates were a little piece of gluten-free heaven. Their caramel cookies were, again, delicious. They are full of flavor, crunchy and very sticky from the caramel. Would highly recommend trying both.
The items are packaged with care, so it’s nice to gift one of their treats to a loved one as a souvenir, or as a souvenir to yourself;) I would definitely recommend going here if you have a sweet tooth and especially if you are like me and are crazy about these kind of sweets. The best gluten-free praline chocolates I have tasted since my celiac diagnosis. Rate: 10/10!

Safety: The sweets aren’t produced in a certified facility and I do not know how they deal with cross contamination but I personally didn’t have any reaction to it.
