Oxford - La Smorfia
This restaurant that caters to celiacs, because the owner herself is a celiac, changed its name last year to La Smorfia. In Italy, La Smorfia, its name possibly derived from the Greek God Morpheus, is a book that details the old Neapolitan tradition in which dreams are analyzed and converted into numbers to play on the Lotto. This is a popular practice in Italy, with many players using this method to determine which numbers they should play to hit the jackpot. To me this was fun to find out, but back to the food part because that really is the highlight of the place! I tried a gluten-free pizza and their heavenly gluten-free cannoli’s which I wrote a separate blog about! "Cause oh my, they are good!" I would suggest to stop what you’re doing and go order one, two, three, four (or keep adding) cannoli’s! They are really sweet (but that’s kind of the point of eating a cannoli) and the flavors are divine. Crunchy, sweet, gooey smooth filling inside. My favorite being the pistachio. Yes, I have tried them all!

Their gluten-free pizzas are also very tasty! Last year I lived in Oxford for six months and I have ordered too much pizza from them. I had the gluten-free pizza capricciosa and the gluten-free pepperoni diavola both priced for £14,95. The Diavola pizza has roquito pearls which I enjoyed and never tried before!
